Andrew and I bought 5 pounds of pork shoulder from Costco, so I decided I needed to try some new recipes to help use it up. We’ve always loved ordering this dish at Korean restaurants but also never tried making Korean soups at home before. After finding some pretty complicated recipes on line (making your own seaweed broth, for example) I decided to try and wing it. I was lucky we had a variety of different kimchee leftover from Daeho, which really enhanced the flavors of the soup! Definitely will be making this again (especially since it seems like we have an endless amount of pork shoulder in our fridge.)"
